This vintage Poochie Playscene by Whitman includes a delightful cardboard backdrop scene and lots of vinyl play pieces featuring Poochie and her friends. The vinyl play pieces are not stickers, so they do not have adhesive, so they can be arranged on the backdrop for a variety of creative scenes. They peel right off when it's time to remove them.
The backdrop features a tree stump with an umbrella shade, a pink dog house, a garden patch, a tree with a swing, a baseball diamond, and a pond with cattails.
The vinyl play pieces feature Poochie and her friends, including Fairy Dog Mother, Fastball, Lickrish, SloMo, and more. There are picnic supplies, flowers, tomatoes and strawberries to plant in the garden patch, and other fun pieces to play with.
The box shows some wear and has some bent areas and crushed corners, as shown in the photos. The playscene shows some wear, but all of the vinyl pieces are still included. One of Poochie's ears doesn't lay perfectly flat, but the rest of her body still sticks to the backdrop.
The front of the box is marked "Mattel, Inc. 1983."
