Huckleberry Pie & Pupcake

Huckleberry Pie is a friend of Strawberry Shortcake. He has brown hair and brown eyes. His classic outfit includes a yellow hat with an embroidered huckleberry cluster, a blue outfit with a green and white striped bandana, and brown shoes. His pet dog, Pupcake, is brown with a dark spot over one eye.

Huckleberry Pie is one of the only boy characters in the Strawberry Shortcake line, with the others being the Purple Pie Man and Lem from Lem & Ada. (Plum Puddin was a boy in some of the early drawings and books. But when a doll version of Plum Puddin was finally released, they had changed her character to a girl).

Huckleberry Pie was released as a First Issue doll, a classic doll with a pet, a rag doll, and in the Strawberryland Miniatures line. Pupcake also appeared in the Soft Animal Friends line.

In 2016, a Classic Reissue version of Huckleberry Pie was released and was sold in a set with Strawberry Shortcake and Custard.
