Popples
Popples was a toy line by Mattel that featured colorful plush stuffed animal creatures with cheerful faces. Each Popple could be folded up into a ball by tucking its arms and legs into a pouch on its back and turning the pouch inside out.
There were various sizes and styles of plush Popples as well as smaller Pocket Popples with hard plastic poseable arms and legs, Puffling Popples with fuzzy bodies, and Popples shaped like flowers.
In addition to the plush toys, there were lots of other Popples items available. The Popples appeared on everything from lunchboxes to sticker albums to nightgowns and even had their own animated TV series.
The original Popples were sold between 1986 and 1988, but the Popples line has been revived several times since then.
