Poochie Stamper Paws Vintage Mattel Ink Stamp Toy
This vintage toy is the Poochie Stamper Paws ink stamp. Poochie is made of hard plastic and has fuzzy plush ears and purple sunglasses on top of her head. Pressing down on her sunglasses pushes down the ink stamp on the bottom. There's a yellow ribbon around her neck with a pink ID tag with the Poochie logo on it.
Poochie originally came with a yellow heart-shaped base that had an ink pad in the middle and two other stamps that could be interchanged. The base is missing, and the only stamp that comes with this toy has the image of Poochie herself.
The white plastic of Poochie's body has yellowed a bit with age, but her head is still white. There are also some paint rubs on her feet and on the back of her head.
Poochie would look adorable on display or could be used with a different ink pad, as the stamper mechanism still works when her sunglasses are pressed.
The back of the toy is marked "Mattel, Inc. 1982."
