Candy Cane Ponies
The ponies' hair could be brushed, but brushing would cause the curls to loosen over time. A pamphlet included with each pony explained that the curls could be restored by wrapping them around a pen or pencil. Wrapping them while wet and allowing them to dry overnight would produce tighter curls, while wrapping them while dry and holding for only a few seconds would produce large, bouncy curls.
The Candy Cane Ponies line included earth ponies, pegasus ponies, and unicorns.
