Soldered Glass Pendant with Butterfly Postage Stamps
This soldered pendant necklace features two postage stamps, one with a Dogface butterfly (Colias eurydice) on one side and an Orange-Tip butterfly (Anthocaris midea) stamp on the other. The necklace can be worn with either stamp showing.
The vintage stamps are from a 1977 series of butterfly postage stamps and are sandwiched between pieces of glass recycled from a broken window. The pendant hangs from a silky orange cord finished with a silver clasp.
