Butterfly Postage Stamp Jewelry
Our handmade butterfly postage stamp jewelry features soldered glass necklaces made from vintage postage stamps with detailed illustrations of butterflies.
These postage stamps were released in 1977 with four different stamps in the set, each representing a different geographic region of the United States. The butterflies featured on the stamps were the checkerspot butterfly, dogface butterfly, orange-tip butterfly, and swallowtail butterfly.
The butterfly stamps are sandwiched between glass salvaged from old broken windows and soldered using our smooth soft soldering technique to showcase the beautiful illustrations as a wearable piece of art.
Each of our butterfly pendant necklaces features two different butterfly stamps. The pendants are reversible and can be worn with either side showing, making them two necklaces in one.
