This vintage hardcover Strawbery Shortcake book is called "Strawberry Shortcake and the Winter That Would Not End." It was written by Alexandra Wallner and illustrated by Mercedes Llimona. It's a sweet story with charming illustrations of Strawberry Shortcake and her friends on an adventure to put an end to a long winter.

The book is a former library copy, so it's in poor condition. There's sticker residue on the binding where the library label was removed and paper torn off the inside page. There's also writing and Wite-Out on the title page. One page has the name of the library stamped on it and there's black permanent marker marks on the bottom of the book, which is visible on most pages.

The pages themselves are all intact and in good condition. The story features Strawberry Shortcake, Huckleberry Pie, Blueberry Muffin, Raspberry Tart, Plum Puddin when he was a male character, and baby Apple Dumplin. The illustration style is more old-fashioned than the later Strawberry Shortcake designs and is similar to the original greeting card version of Strawberry Shortcake.

The summary on the back of the book reads:

"This beautiful book tells how Strawberry Shortcake and her friends find the Snow King's magic crystal and bring sunshine back to their long-frozen world.

If you have enjoyed this enchanted storybook, you'll want to read its companion volume - The Adventures of Strawberry Shortcake and Her Friends."

The inside of the book is dated "1982 by American Greetings Corporation."
