Pink Glitter Little Twin Stars 1988 Trinket Box with Drawers

This vintage Little Twin Stars trinket box by Sanrio is made of pink translucent plastic with silver glitter. It has a lid on top that opens up to reveal three small storage spaces and there are two pull-out drawers on the front. 

The top of the box shows Kiki and Lala playing on a cloud and says "Little Twin Stars" in cursive writing. There's also a quote written in cursive: "Just close your eyes and think about Kikia and Lala, and they will be with you."

The designs on the drawers show a house in the clouds and Kiki and Lala wearing white hoods.

The plastic has yellowed significantly with age, this is common for pink plastic and is caused by exposure to sunlight. The pink has become more of an orange color in most areas except for one part on the right side of the box and the bottom.

The lid of the box used to open with a hinge, but there are two small pieces of plastic broken off that held the hinges in place, so it no longer stays open by itself unless propped up just right. To access the top compartments, you can raise the lid while holding the hinges in place, or just lift it up and remove it completely.

The box has some light scratches and shows light wear from use, but the designs on the lid and drawers are in good condition.

The box is dated 1988 on the front.
