Rock 'N Curl Jem Doll Vintage 1987 Hasbro Jem Jerrica & The Holograms Toy

This vintage doll is Rock 'N Curl Jem from Jem and the Holograms. She was released in 1987 and has a pretty smile showing her teeth.

Jem could use some TLC, she shows lots of wear from play over the years. Most noticeably, her hair has lost its curl and has been cut in a straight line along the back. It's very thick and is free of tangles and has a bit of wave to it, but this is most likely from being pulled back in a ponytail.

Jem has holes for earrings, but does not come with any of her original earrings, clothes, or accessories.

Her waist joint is broken, so she has been fixed with a bit of flexible washi tape. If the tape is removed, the bottom half of her body will hang from a string from the top half. The tape allows her to sit or stand and could be hidden with clothes. It may need to be replaced if she is repositioned, or you could try fixing her waist joint.

Her legs have a few marks on them, as shown in the photos. These could likely be removed or they could be hidden with clothes.

This doll would be great for a customization project.

On her back, she is marked "1985 Hasbro Inc., China."
