Hallmark Gentle Fawn Vintage 1989 Christmas Ornament Flocked Deer
This vintage Hallmark Keepsake Ornament is the Gentle Fawn from 1989 and comes with its original box. The ornament features a sweet-looking fawn with pale tan fur and white spots. The fur is flocked for a realistic appearance, and there's a red bow and some green holly berries around the fawn's neck for a festive Christmas look.
The fawn is seated with its legs folded underneath and the bottom is flat so it can sit on a shelf instead of hanging on the tree. There's a gold loop behind one ear where you can attach a string or hook for hanging.
The ornament has been displayed, so it shows some dirt and wear on the flocking on the ears and face. It comes with its original box and there's bubble wrap inside so you can store it carefully between seasons. The box is a little dented.
The bottom of the fawn is marked "1989 Hallmark Cards Inc."
