Cherry Cuddler Pin Necklace Vintage Plastic Brooch in Pendant

This vintage Strawberry Shortcake necklace features a large pendant in the shape of a red cherry and has a small plastic pin with Strawberry Shortcake's friend, Cherry Cuddler, inside. The pendant and pin are both made of cheap plastic, similar to vending machine prizes.

Cherry Cuddler wears her red hat, white dress, green striped tights, and stands with her pet, Gooseberry, next to her. She fits just inside the cherry pendant.

The clear door on the front of the cherry doesn't stay shut by itself, it just flips open. So it doesn't work well as a necklace, but the bottom is flat so it could sit on a shelf on display. The pin has lots of paint rubbed off and is cheaply made, the pin bar on the back is also slightly bent.

The pendant hangs from a long chain with a spring clasp, the chain shows some tarnishing.

The back of the cherry is marked "1981 A.G.C."
