This handmade gold headband is a replacement piece for Angel Cake, one of the Strawberry Shortcake dolls. The headband is made of gold ribbon and is a reproduction of the kind she originally came with.
Angel Cake's original headband is easily lost if the plastic fasteners from the factory are removed, so this is a great replacement piece to complete your doll's outfit.
If your doll's hair is very thick and full and the headband won't stay on by itself, it can be pinned to her head for display purposes with a tiny pin on each side. To avoid poking holes in the doll's head, place the pins in existing holes where her hair is rooted or in the holes that were made by the original plastic fasteners.
