Take a Tour of Strawberry Shortcake's Berry Happy Home
The Berry Happy Home dollhouse came out in 1983 and was a place where Strawberry Shortcake and her friends could live and play. It had six charming rooms and lots of intricate details.
The furniture for each room was sold separately and was incredibly detailed, with lots of moving parts for realistic play and strawberry and plant-themed motifs in every piece.
First, lets take a look at the outside of the house.
The house has an off-white stucco finish, a red roof and gables, and leaf trim and a flower box on the front window.
There's a mailbox that really opens, and a porch swing where Strawberry Shortcake and her friends can relax.
The swing really rocks back and forth!
The side of the house has another window with a flower box outside of the kitchen. There's a sun deck with a patio on the second floor, and a strawberry-shaped skylight in the attic.
The back of the house is open for easy play. There are steps leading up to the kitchen.
The other side of the house has a trellis where Strawberry Shortcake grows strawberries, and a bay window that's just the right size for her baby friends.
Coming back around to the front of the house, there's a welcome mat on the front step that says "Strawberry Shortcake's Berry Happy Home."
The front door is a Dutch style door with a top panel that opens separately from the bottom. A yellow flower-shaped porch light hangs from the porch roof.
