This vintage Fisher-Price toy is the Sesame Street Music Box Record Player, #995N. It's a wind-up record player with plastic records that really play music. Just wind up the crank on the front of the box, put on a record, place the arm over the record, and it will work like a music box. Small bumps and grooves on the record catch the music-player attachments in the arm and have a beautiful chiming sound.

The stickers on the sides of the record player feature Sesame Street characters with sheet music.

There's a handle on top for easy carrying and a slot to hold about 5 records, though only 4 are included. Each record has two songs on it.

The records included are:
#1 - Humpty Dumpty, Jack and Jill (blue)
#2 - Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Au Clair De La Lune (purple)
#4 - Children's Marching Song, Camptown Races (green)
#5 - Edelweiss, Hickory Dickory Dock (orange)

The record player shows some wear from age and play, but is still in working condition. The wind-up part still works fine and the records play. The records need to be placed directly on the pegs of the turntable and the arm needs to be positioned correctly in order for the music to play.

The side is dated "1984."
