Summer Wing Ponies
The Summer Wing ponies were released in Year 6 of the My Little Pony line and featured ponies with translucent wings and long manes, similar to the Windy Wing Ponies released later in Year 7. In addition to a symbol on their bottoms, they also had a small symbol on the cheek or forehead.
The ponies were the size of baby ponies but with slimmer, less chunky bodies. Unlike the earlier Flutter Ponies, the wings of the Summer Wing ponies were permanently attached. However, the wings are fragile and are prone to getting damaged.
