Sweet Sleeper Dolls
In 1984, the Sweet Sleeper dolls were added to the Strawberry Shortcake line. They featured dolls with sleepy eyes that would close when you laid them down and open again when the doll was raised back up.
Each doll wore sleepwear and came with a berry-shaped sleeping bag. The pets wore matching nightcaps and were fast asleep.
The five characters included in the Sweet Sleeper line were Blueberry Muffin and Cheesecake, Lemon Meringue and Frappe, Orange Blossom and Marmalade, Raspberry Tart and Rhubarb, and Strawberry Shortcake and Custard.
The soft fuzzy lining in the sleeping bags is prone to tearing and disintegrating with age, so it's difficult to find sleeping bags with the lining in good condition.
